理学部 生物科学科（高分子機能学）の学生は、3年生の10月から研究室に配属され実践的な個別研究指導を受けます。
研究室配属を待たずに早くから研究活動を始められる制度が、「ラボ体験」です。
将来は研究者を目指すなど、博士課程への進学に興味がある学部2、3年生を対象としています。

当研究室に所属する学生が学部2年生1名、3年生1名のラボ体験の指導をそれぞれ行いました。
学部2年生で行う学生実験で用いる手法を発展させた遺伝子解析実験や研究室で日々行っている研究に関する実験を行い、実験原理や研究活動への理解を深めました。
平井芙実さん（MC2）、吉川一歩さん（MC2）、鈴木愛加さん（MC1）が約1ヶ月にわたって指導を担当し、実験手技指導だけでなく研究生活に関する相談などにものりました。

内容：果実や野菜からのアレルゲン抽出・検出の実験を行いました。
学生：学部2年生

内容：毛根からDNAを抽出して自分がお酒に強い遺伝子型を持っているかを調べました。
また、アレルギーに関連するSNP（一塩基多型）（体験学生が自分で調べたもの）についてプライマーをデザインし、自分がどのような遺伝子型を持っているかについて調べました。

Students in the Department of Biological Sciences (Macromolecular Functions) are assigned to laboratories from October of their third year. The “Lab Experience” is a system that allows students to begin their research activities before the assignment to a laboratory.

During the month of 8/13/2024 to 9/13/2024, students belonging to our laboratory supervised a lab experience for second-year and third-year undergraduate students.
They conducted experiments incorporating more advanced content in genetic recombination experiments to deepen their understanding of experimental principles and research activities.
Ms. Hirai(MC2), Ms. Yoshikawa(MC2) and Ms. Suzuki(MC1) were in charge of the students for about a month, providing not only guidance on experimental techniques but also consultation on research life.
