Mr. Cliff NG has joined in LSW as intership student!

Dr. Ryuji KIYAMA has received a special-appointment assistant professor position at Faculty of Advanced Life Science. Mr. Tomonori TANI and Mr. Ning LI have joined in LSW!

Ms. Eiko Hasegawa, a special assistant/foreign teacher assistant, has retired. We express our heartfelt gratitude for her great contribution to the laboratory over the years. Ms. Yukiko Hane, a technical assistant, and Dr. Qifeng Mu, a postdoctoral researcher, have also retired. Ms. Mayu Watanabe, Mr. Kyosho Morimoto, and Ms. Rinka Morishita all the best as they graduate from the master’s program, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors to make great contributions to society.

Dr. Hailong Fan’s paper “Bioinspired Underwater Adhesives” became most downloaded papers in Advanced Materials.

Dr. Fucheng Tian continues to work with us as a “JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowships Foreign Researchers Program” visiting research fellow.

LSW hosts Ms. Maïra Cordelle, Master’s student at ESPCI Paris, France, for 5 months this spring.

Under the inter-institutional student exchange agreement between HU and Aalto Univ, Ms. Sei Shoda studies as an exchange student to study for half a year at School of Chemical Engineering, Aalto University, Finland.
