Xueyu Li received her B.S. degree (2012) from Hefei University of Technology, China, and her Ph.D. degree (2017) from University of Science and Technology of China, China. Her Ph.D. program (Studying the processing physics of lithium battery separators using synchrotron X-ray methods) won Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Awards in 2021. She joined Prof. Jian Ping Gong’s group at Hokkaido University as a postdoctoral research fellow in 2017. Since March 2022, she has worked as an assistant professor in the Faculty of Advanced Life Science, Hokkaido University. Her current research focuses on fracture and fatigue mechanisms of tough hydrogels.
