The Co-Creation Core for Soft Materials Aspiring Research & Translation (C3-SMART) is an initiative centered on next-generation young researchers. It connects Hokkaido University’s globally leading soft matter research with fields such as medicine, engineering, agriculture, fisheries, and field sciences. Through the development of next-generation soft materials, the exploration of fundamental scientific principles, and their implementation in society, the program aims to address a wide range of social challenges.
