Notes

  • Workshop is all in English this year.
  • Workshop officially begins in the afternoon on August 4th. However, the Life Science Special Lecture III, Graduate School of Life Science, by professor Fujita is scheduled on August 3 (Mon, 13:30-17:00), and Basic in Fluorescence (in English) by Dr. Vladana is on August 4 (Tue, 10:00-12:00). These lectures will be about basic spectroscopy both in Japanese and English. Participants of workshop can attend them as well.
  • Participants of workshop can apply for a credit of the lecture above (the Life Science Special Lecture III, 1 credit). To get the credit, registration as a special auditing student and registration fee are needed. However, some of the national universities waive the registration fee. Please inquire the specific information at the time of registration.
  • 8 participants are selected after registration. The result of selection will be announced around July 10th via e-mail.
  • Those who will attend the 25th workshop (primary to intermediate level, held in Kobe in July) are preferentially accepted for this course.
  • A hotel for accomodation will be assigned by us.
  • Please pay the participation fee (5,000 JPY) at the reception desk first day.
