Student-Run Symposium: The 4th International Life-Science Symposium to be held on Friday, November 18

We are pleased to announce that, the 4th International Life-Science Symposium (4th ILSS) will be held on November 18th, 2016 at Conference Hall in Hokkaido University.

In this fiscal year, we place this symposium at the first base of outreach activity of younger researchers who will play a role in future research of life sciences, and aim to provide the opportunity for younger researchers to communicate internationally irrespective of nationality and subject area.

We wish this symposium will contribute to your help to achieve your future activity to participate in the international society.

In this symposium, we’ll give awards for the excellent poster presentations and oral presentations, in order to expect to value the research progress of young researchers and encourage them to keep trying in the future.

We have invited Assistant Prof. Daniel R. King (Laboratory of Soft and Wet matter, Faculty of Advanced Life Science).

He is going to give some tips for international communication and working in a different culture in addition to their previous research.
