Cryo-EM is indispensable for contemporary biology. We recommend lab members to study theories of crystallography as well as EM on weekly basis (via lab seminar) as we are personnel in department of Science. We normally apply EM for complex structure analysis in signal transduction pathways. TEM trial for negatively-stained sample is more widely used to get to know sample status.
