X-ray crystallography is still essential to our research in this AI era, we believe. We especially focus on chemical side of biology in which unusual chemical events often happen. In other words, we would like to seek and decipher unique events that cannot be predicted and classified by AI. Crystallography is also educationally good to start structure biology; diffraction theory/Fourie transform/B-factor/model building/structure validation used in crystallography is better to know to drop in at EM theory.
