Laboratory of Biomolecular Adaptation Science (2003~) is uniquely operated by researchers of AIST-Hokkaido (denoted AIST here), who were especially designated as professors or assoc. professors of Hokkaido University (HU). The students who join this laboratory of HU, located in AIST, are able to obtain MC and/or DC degree of life science course of HU, if they complete their thesis under our supervision. The building of AIST is brand new, and equipped with so many advanced instruments. Although AIST and HU are 9 km distant, AIST has a huge park "Hitsujigaoka-observation-hill" nearby, where there is a famous bronze statue of the 1st deputy of HU, Prof. William S. Clark ("Boys, be ambitious"). If you are interested in this laboratory located in AIST, please e-mail to the address indicated at the top corner of this page.
